About
The intent of this blog is to focus on the organic side of Library Land — customer service, human resources, emerging technology, and innovative outreach.
Its inspiration is S. R. Ranganathan’s fifth law of library science: “The library is a growing organism.”
The guy who writes this blog received his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Georgia and is pursuing a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the Florida State University College of Information.
He is currently employed as a Library Associate with the Gwinnett County Public Library, where he finds himself planning programs for teens, working with various technological knick-knacks, and pondering the complexities of Library Land while answering questions at the Help Desk.
