A day off? I liked a lot of the ideas mentioned as just doing a little *something*. I think what I would like best would be a survey asking my opinion on all sorts of things about the library. Let the staff feel like they are being listened to, that will make them feel appreciated. And if a lot of staff suggest the same thing, DO IT, or at least give an explaination why. Nothing makes people feel unappreciated than having their ideas meet with crickets.

Well, since our coworkers didn’t save us any cake from the anniversary celebration from yesterday, maybe we’ll cry. We asked for cake to be saved for us, but they don’t love us anymore.
